Upper Galilee Rugby Club
Upper Galilee Rugby Club was established in 1976 and celebrates over 40 years of operation. It is among the first clubs in Israel and includes 4 teams – kids, juniors, women and men.
In 2012 the club was re-established after having been inactive since 2000. Yaniv Gerti is the club manager and Ofer Hamburger is head coach together with Amir Kadeshberg and Yaniv Gerti.

Maccabi Haifa Wild Boars Rugby Club
The club was established in 1971 by Alan Barzag, a Haifa Technion student and was initially composed of South African Olim. In 1972 the club was of the founding members of the Israel Rugby Union.
Today the club has womens’, mens’ and junior teams all active in the local leagues and IRU sponsored tournaments.
The Technion is the only academic institute in Israel offering rugby as an elective in which students get exposed to the sport as part of their education. The club is names “Haifa Wild Boars” after the numerous boars roaming the Carmel mountain.
In 2018, the club joined the Maccabbi Haifa Carmel sports association.

Hapoel Yizrael Gilboa Rugby Club
The Yizrael-Gilboa Rugby Club was established in the late 1960s’ and is part of the Israeli league ever since its inauguration in the mid-1970s. It is located in Kibbutz Yizrael and was initiated by new immigrants from South Africa, New-Zealand and Australia.
In addition to a leading mens’ team, the club boasts 5 junior team with over 100 players from U8s to U18s.

Menashe Mammoths Rugby Club
Established in 2011, the Menashe Mammoths Rugby Club brings together players from various kibbutzim in the region, operating under the sponsorship of the Menashe Regional Council. Despite its young age, the club has already won several national championships and contributed numerous players to Israel’s national teams

Maccabi Hadarim Rugby Club
Hadarim R.F.C. is a Rugby Club in the Hasharon Area of Israel, aiming at promoting Rugby in that part of the country and building a community around it.
Activities day, time and location
Training in Tel Mond continues on Sundays and Wednesdays for the different age groups, men and women, 18:00 to 22:00
And at Hadasim, Even Yehuda, every Monday and Thursday 17:00-21:30 for all school age groups.
Hadarim RFC is also active within schools, either as volunteer work or regular weekly activities.
Our head coach, Thomas Berman, is a professional Rugby player of the Tel Aviv Heat.

Hasharon-Raanana Roosters Rugby Club
Hasharon Rugby Club was founded in the late 1970s and has won three championships and three cups over the years.
The club includes senior and youth teams.
In 2025, the club began a collaboration with the Parents’ Association for Special Education to establish an inclusive team for youth and children with special needs at the “Shelanu” Center in Ra’anana.

The Jerusalem Rugby Club has been active in the city for over 40 years and is a leading force in the sport locally.
The club includes a men’s team – the Jerusalem Lions, a women’s team – the Jerusalem Lionesses, as well as a boys’ and girls’ youth team that trains on a weekly basis.

Hapoel Beer-Sheba Rugby Club
Established on July 27, 2016, by Four Founders
Reuven Cohen, Oscar Heyman, Ilia Levinson, and Maxim Tzabryn founded the club with the vision of promoting rugby in Israel. The club benefits from the expertise of two certified coaches, Reuven Cohen and Oscar Heyman, who completed their training at the Wingate Institute. The club operates various age groups, including children, youth, adults, and women. Its activities are guided by five core pillars: integrity, passion, solidarity, discipline, and respect.

The First LGBTQ+ Team in Israel’s Rugby League
Tel Aviv IBEX is joining the men’s league with fresh energy and a strong sense of community. Established three years ago, the team boasts nearly 50 players from a variety of countries. Following their victory at an international cup in Rome, IBEX continues its journey under the guidance of experienced coach Jeremy Shouder, who is leading them to the next level. The team embodies rugby values of equality and inclusion, combining sport and community life in the heart of Tel Aviv.

The Golan Cowboys Rugby Club was established in 2024 in the southern Golan Heights.
Today, the club runs teams for boys, girls, and youth across the Golan, as well as a women’s team training in Katzrin.
