נבחרת הנשים של ישראל ברוגבי שביעיות זכתה במקום ה-3 מתוך 11 מדינות בדרג ה־Conference של אליפות אירופה שנערכת באנדורה, לאחר שניצחה 14:12 את סלובקיה במשחק על המקום השלישי.
לאחר פתיחה מאתגרת שכללה הפסד לפינלנד בשלב הבתים, התאוששה הנבחרת עם ניצחונות מרשימים על לוקסמבורג (46:0) ועל בוסניה והרצגובינה (45:5), שהבטיחו את העפלתה לשלב הנוקאאוט.
ברבע הגמר המשיכה ישראל במומנטום עם ניצחון משכנע 41:0 על בולגריה והעפילה לחצי הגמר, שם הפסידה 24:19 ללטביה במשחק צמוד. במשחק על המקום השלישי, הנבחרת גברה 14:12 על סלובקיה, במשחק מלא נחישות ורוח צוות.
בין השחקניות הבולטות של הנבחרת לאורך הטורניר היו אמה ליפשיץ, אלה ניני וג'סיקה טולשין. הטורניר כלל גם שילוב מוצלח של שחקניות חדשות בסגל, ובהן אנה רוגטניקוב, שרשמה טריי ראשון במדי הנבחרת במשחק מול לטביה, שחר צפריר, שכבשה אף היא את טריי הבכורה שלה במהלך הטורניר, ומאיה ציני, שערכה את הופעת הבכורה שלה במדי נבחרת ישראל.
מיכל להק, קפטנית נבחרת הנשים ברוגבי שביעיות: "אני גאה מאוד בקבוצה הזאת. כל אחת מהשחקניות שעלו על הדשא, הביאה איכויות שונות לקבוצה, השקעה ונחישות. המקום השלישי הוא הישג מעולה, אבל יותר מזה הוא משקף את העבודה הקשה, והלב שכל אחת שמה על המגרש.

Israel Women's Rugby Sevens Team Finishes Third at Rugby Europe Conference Championship
Israel's Women's Rugby Sevens team finished third out of 11 competing nations at the Rugby Europe Women's Sevens Conference Championship in Andorra, after defeating Slovakia 14-12 in the third-place playoff.
After a challenging start to the tournament with a loss to Finland in the pool stage, Israel bounced back with impressive victories over Luxembourg (46-0) and Bosnia and Herzegovina (45-5) to secure a place in the knockout stage.
Israel continued its strong run in the quarterfinals with a dominant 41-0 victory over Bulgaria to advance to the semifinals, where it narrowly lost 24-19 to Latvia. The team responded in impressive fashion in the third-place playoff, overcoming Slovakia 14-12 in a match that showcased its determination and team spirit.
Among Israel's standout performers throughout the tournament were Emma Lipschitz, Ella Nini and Jessica Tolchin. The competition also marked the successful integration of several new players into the national squad. Anna Rogatnikov scored her maiden try for Israel against Latvia, Shahar Tzafrir also crossed for her first international try during the tournament, while Maya Zini earned her senior international debut for Israel.
